Arrival

Meetin with participants in the planned airports ( Milan Malpensa, Verona, Bologna and other possible apt)
Flight to Ibiza and transfer by bus to Ibiza marine terminal.
Ferry departure to Formentera (Turnoaround ticket included).
Arrival at La Savina marine termina in Formentera, transfer by bus to own hotel, accommodation.

First leg, 9,2 km.

Second leg 7,8 km

Brunch for all the participants by the finish line.
Lunch and afternoon at leisure
  • 8,00 PM meeting at hotel Riu la Mola hotel for the 1st and 2nd leg slideshow.

Wedensday 29th may 2019

Third leg, 12,2 km

  • 7,00 AM Wake up, breakfast and transfer to Cala Saona start line of the 3rd 12,2 km leg.
  • 8,30 AM Walkers start
  • 9,00 AM Runners start
Pasta party for all the participants by the finish line. Afternoon at leisure.
  • 8,00 PM meeting at hotel Riu la Mola hotel for the 3rd leg slideshow.
Dinner and overnight in own accommodations.

Thursday 30th may 2019

Fourth leg, 8 km

  • 6,30 AM Wake up, breakfast and transfer to la Savina start line of the 4th 8 km leg.
  • 8,15 AM Walkers start
  • 8,30 AM Runners start.
Buffet for all the participants by the finish line. Lunch and afternoon at leisure.
  • 8,00 PM Dinner and overnight in own accommodations.

Friday 31st may 2019

Day at leisure

Wake up, breakfast and day at own disposal for free visit of the island. Dinner and overnight in own accommodations.

Saturday 1st june 2019

Fifth leg, 21 km

  • 7,00 AM Wake up, breakfast and transfer to La Mola lighthouse.
  • 9,00 AM Walkers and Runners start of the “NB Formentera Trail 21.1” , 5th leg of the Formentera to Run programme.
    All the participants will be included in the rank.
    Walkers will walk a 9,00 km itinerary
  • From 11,30 AM Paella and beers for all participants.
  • 12,30 AM award ceremony for the “NB Formentera Trail 21.1”.
In the afternoon scooter delivery
  • 8,30 PM by hotel Riu la Mola swimming pool award ceremony with slideshow
White Party with buffet, music and dance.
Overnight in own accommodation

Sunday 2nd june 2019

Departure

Free wake up and breakfast, depending on flight own schedule.
Transfer by bus to La Savina, ferry to Ibiza and transfer by bus to Ibiza airport for own return flight.

  7. Com’e’ il terreno?  Il terreno varia molto a seconda delle tappe. Si va da terreni duri e compatti in terra, ad altri rocciosi che richiedono un po’ di attenzione per la presenza di pietre, fino a quelli più nettamente sabbiosi

  6. Il cellulare prende lungo il percorso? Sì, quasi ovunque
  7. Per partecipare alla gara, mi serve il certificato medico di idonieta agonistico?

  9. Ci sono personale Staff Zitoway lungo il percorso? Sì, diversi mezzi e scooter, incluso quello del servizio medico, seguono la gara dall’inizio alla fine.
  10. In caso di maltempo la gara si svolge lo stesso?

  2. Quale spina (adattatore) mi serve per caricare i device nel lodge? Spine europee normali
  3. Cosa si mangia ai pasti?  I pasti sono a buffet con grande varietà di scelta: carne, pesce, pasta, riso, verdure varie, pane, pizza, formaggi e dolci. 
  4. Ho delle esigenze alimentari cosa posso fare? Vanno segnalate all’agenzia Born2Run che provvederà ad informare il resort
  1. Quali sono le scarpe più adatte per correre la Formentera To Run? Il terreno è mediamente compatto e roccioso con vari tratti lungo scogliere e sentieri che possono essere insidiosi. Consigliate scarpe abbastanza strutturate da trail che forniscano un buon sostegno alle caviglie
  2. E quali calze sono meglio? Calze tecniche anche le calze a dita separate funzionano molto bene.
  1. Come mi devo vestire per la gara? L’abbigliamento abituale da running è adatto alle condizioni; da considerare la possibile presenza di vento.
  2. Faccio la Formentera To Run come RUNNER: Sono utili i bastoncini? No
  1. Cosa posso mettere in un Kit d’emergenza idoneo alle zone? Un antibiotico ad ampio spettro, un anti-diarroico, un anti-piretico (Tachipirina), un antidolorifico (Brufen, Oki o simili). C’è comunque assistenza medica h24 per tutta la durata della gara. 
  2. Ci sono insetti, zanzare ecc? No
